Programs & Services

Our basketball league programs and services are a collection of various activities that cater to a wide range of participants.

Our Programs

  1. Youth development programs: Our programs are designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball and help young players improve their skills and knowledge of the game. These programs can include clinics, camps, and youth leagues.
     

  2. Competitive recreational leagues: Our leagues provide an opportunity for players to stay active and compete in organized games. 
     

  3. Tournaments and special events: Our league often host tournaments and special events to provide additional opportunities for competition and to promote the league.
     

  4. Community outreach and support: Our league aims to work with local organizations to explore ways we can assist. We also support to players and participant in need in forms of various project opportunities.
     

In summary, AATL league programs and services vary but all strive to provide an environment for players to learn, improve and make a positive impact in our community.

Youth basketball camps are typically summer programs that are designed to teach young players the fundamentals of basketball.

Seasonal Leagues

Our league is organized with teams that compete against each other in regular scheduled games, typically following a specific set of rules and regulations.

Annual Tournaments

Our annual tournaments are organized events featuring multiple teams competing against each other in a bracket-style format, with the goal of determining a champion.

How You Can Help

We are seeking highly motivated, young professionals to join our team. No professional background experience is required, just a willingness to learn, communicate, and adapt.

 

As a Community Lead,  you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the sports field. Roles we are always looking for include:

Videographer

A videographer's responsibilities may include:

  • Planning and executing videoshoots

  • Lighting and composing shots

  • Capturing audio

  • Editing video footage

  • Adding special effects and music

Photographer

​A photographer's responsibilities may include:

  • Planning and executing photoshoots

  • Lighting and composing shots

  • Retouching and editing photographs

  • Managing and organizing a photo archive

AATL Staff Writer

A staff writer's responsibilities may include:​

  • Attending and covering live basketball games

  • Writing game summaries, recaps, and analysis

  • Conducting interviews with players, coaches, and other team personnel

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest news and developments in the world of basketball

  • Creating compelling and engaging content that captures the excitement of the game and the personalities of the players and teams

Statistician

​A statistician's responsibilities may include:

  • Recording data during live basketball games, including scoring, rebounds, assists, steals, and other relevant statistics

  • Communicating statistics to the media and other stakeholders

  • Producing game, player, and team statistics reports

  • Keeping record of the teams/players statistics and performance

Timekeeper

​A timekeeper's responsibilities may include:

  • Operating the game clock  during live basketball games

  • Monitoring the game to ensure that the clock is started and stopped correctly according to the rules

  • Communicating with referees to resolve any clock-related issues

  • Keeping track of timeouts and substitutions

  • Recording the final score and other statistics at the end of the game

Social Media/Design Assistant

A social media/design assistant's responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with market research and analysis

  • Helping to develop and implement marketing campaigns

  • Creating content for social media and other online platforms

  • Assisting with the planning and execution of events

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a cohesive marketing strategy

What to Expect During the Year

Throughout the year, All Atlanta Basketball will provide  players and participants a platform to pursue their passions whether that's on or off the court.

 

Details will follow accordingly with each event and we encourage you to be a part of what we're up to every season.

  • A seven-week basketball league dedicated to local athletes

Summer

  • Basketball Training Camps for the youth (targeting U13 players)

Fall

  • Various AATL Basketball Tournaments for different age groups

Winter

  • Community-based events

  • Shelter volunteering events
